Company History – DOVI-Plast Kft.
DOVI-Plast Kft. was founded on December 18, 2009. Its owner, Imre Péter Hornyák, started tool manufacturing as a sole proprietor in 1991. In 1995, he founded Kaposbrezon Kft., which continues to operate today as the parent company of DOVI-Plast Ltd.
Our core business is tool manufacturing, complemented by metal machining and the production of plastic products.
Our production facility is located in Kaposvár, Hungary, featuring a 1,300 m² crane-equipped workshop. We possess all technologies required for tool manufacturing, from design to the production of finished plastic products. We specialize primarily in manufacturing plastic injection molds, but we have also produced blanking dies, punching tools, aluminum die-casting molds, extrusion tools, and permanent molds. With over 28 years of experience, we have designed and manufactured countless tools of various types and complexities, while also modifying existing tools. Trial production is carried out on our own injection molding machines, ensuring that our partners receive their tools only after successful testing. Our CNC machining centers manufacture mold plates and other precision components with short lead times. Since acquiring our new production facility in 2012, we have continuously modernized our machinery and implemented the latest manufacturing technologies. Through development projects, we have expanded our equipment with SODICK wire-cut and sinker EDM machines, an OKAMOTO CNC milling machine, a SISMA laser welding machine, and a ROMI CNC lathe. We currently operate 23 machines. Our modern equipment has significantly increased productivity, resulting in continuous annual revenue growth.
We place great emphasis on quality control and quality assurance. Measurements are performed using a HEXAGON 3D coordinate measuring machine, and a detailed inspection report is prepared for every measurement.

Environmental protection and the health of our employees are among our highest priorities. Therefore, our workshop is continuously equipped with state-of-the-art UNIFIL oil mist extraction systems capable of filtering airborne particles as small as 0.003 mm, contributing to a healthier working environment.
